She has taught at universities in United States and in Middle East, and has practiced as an architect in the greater Washington DC area, Colorado, and Pennsylvania; working on a range of award-winning projects that include locations in the Rocky Mountains, Canada, and Afghanistan.  Maggie received her Masters of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Virginia. She later went on to get a Master of Fine Arts Degree focusing on graphic design and illustration.  In addition to teaching, she continues a small practice in northeast Pennsylvania.
